It’s a perennial question when everyone returns to the UA campus each fall: What did you do during the summer? For AMS major Kathryn Haynes, her primary focus this summer was recording her debut record, a five-song EP titled This is Right Where. A senior from Memphis, Tennessee, Haynes composed all of the songs herself and did the recording across a marathon five-day session in Nashville. She thanks Michael Parsons for recording her demos, along with Andrew Isbell and Andrew Van Wert for production–including their work on backing instruments and vocals.
